December 8, 2017 in Kiev, a charity evening called “Dinner for the Future at Hilton Kyiv” was held, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the purchase of new equipment for the Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The charity evening was held with the support of many organizing parties, including, among others, the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Italy, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian Embassy in Ukraine, the Zalog Charitable Foundation, B2Ukraine.com, and Hilton Kyiv.The presenters of the event were Yuri Gorbunov and Lyudmila Khariv.
“Politicians and actors gathered here. Businessmen and artists. Here is everything. We organize many social events. In general, this is our third charity event. For supporting children’s cardio and pediatric centers,” said Hassan Ragab, general manager of Hilton Kyiv.
In the west, more than 200 representatives of the business gathered simultaneously. As the organizers explain, the number of invited guests was even higher than we had expected. It is worth noting that this is not the first charity event by Hilton Kyiv and other organizing companies.
The Italian tenor Christian Ricci, whose sensitive performance will be remembered by all those present for a long time, became the guest of honor of the evening. In addition, the soloists of the Kiev National Academic Operetta Theater and the little talents of the Voice of Children show also became guests of honor and artists of the evening.
Inspirer of the “Evening for the Future” – Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Italy, Marco Toson is sure that such events contribute to the development of the volunteer movement in Ukraine. In addition, the Consul said that for 100% of the funds from the collected charitable contributions, new equipment will be purchased for the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. “I love children very much, so it’s a great honor and a great joy to be able to help them. This event is done primarily for people. We and not only we invested a lot of money in it. I did it with all my heart and on behalf of all Italian of the people, “says Marc Toson, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Italy.
Organizers of the “Supper for the Future” collected 750,000 hryvnia. Moreover, they provide assistance to the children’s medical center not for the first time, because the clinic already has three new devices thanks to such events.
